The skin is a natural barrier that controls moisture and temperature in the body. One of its main components is omega-3 fatty acid, and this is an integral part of the skin's protective layer. When the integrity of this layer is lost, irritation, dryness and peeling takes place. Generally such events are seasonal and/or are found in stress areas such as the fold zones (elbows and knees) or the face and scalp, but can be found elsewhere on the body. Dermomega OMS is an emollient cream that is effective in the treatment and prevention of dry, peeling skin. It is safe for the face and body, and is recommended for both adults and children.
